A Very... Special Chat.

The new temple to Hephestia in Attolia is finished, and the monarchs of Attolia, Attolis Eugenides and Attolia Irene, are holding a celebration. They've invited everyone they can think of, and those they forgot were invited by word of mouth. Even the gods might make an apperance, the priests are saying, but no one believes them... It will be a night to remember. The people of Eddis, Attolia, Sounis and maybe even Medea all in one place. Craziness is sure to ensue.

Important New Edit: Alright. I haven't heard back from tiegirl, so if she has a huge problem with this she, or anyone else, can contact me and say so.
                   We still appear to be lacking an Attolia, so I'm declaring myself dictator for the moment and figuring this out. I'm giving up Eddis, who will now be played by puppeteergirl. I will play Attolia. Does this sound good? Thanks to everyone, and remember that the chat is tomorrow! if you're undecided, you can wait until the chat, and then see who hasn't been taken. But that always allows that someone might show up and have claimed who you want. Be blessed in your endeavors!
 

Me and Kulai had this idea earlier, and those of you who have read the backlog have probably heard about it... but here's the spheal anyways.

We're thinking we could roleplay a chat. This upcoming chat, everyone can sign in and chat as a QT character. Hopefully, we'll have enough people to come up with some mad backlog that will cause everyone not in the know to do a double-take. If you're interested, leave a comment here saying who you want to be. Queens, kings, servants, courtiers, and anyone else you can think of! I'll update this from time to time showing who's who. Feel free to claim any character. You can fool around to generate better crackishness, but remember to stick to cannon.

Like I said above, this is taking place after KoA, but before anything of consequence has really happened. Keep in mind this is sort of alternate-universe already... just so we can get everyone we want in there. Never in the world would Irene and Gen really invite people from Medea. But it's more fun that way.

The lovely emerald has offered to let us steal the upcoming chat, so I'm getting to use the mad official sounding chat thingy!

The password can be found at this post (I can't find the post with this. But it's the same one as always. Ask if you need to know :-) ). The chat will be on Saturday, at: 9-10 pm GMT, 4-5pm Eastern Standard Time (US), 3-4pm Central Standard Time (US), 1-2pm Pacific Standard Time. This sounds like alot of fun, but I don't know who to be... I think I'm more like Eddis than any of the other characters, but I dunno...

thelasteddis, could you add who has been claimed to your post? Maybe that will help me to decide.

Perhaps I could be Costis...or is he taken? (I have a bad short term memory) Then I could just be ordered around, and say "Yes, My King" and "Yes, My Queen."

My brother is really trying to convince me not to lurk. He wants me to take Attolia. But I really feel I lack imagination, so I am afeared to do so. I thought maybe Erondites, but he would have to be witty. Oh dear, who to be, who to be? I could go as MOW and just roll my eyes occasionally...What does anyone else think?

You have to pick a character! it won't be the same without you. :-)

If you're nervous to pick a superpower like Attolia, you could go with a more minor character - they can be very fun as well, more chance for improvasation. What about Dite or Xanthe? Hero?

Anyway, so I was thinking...

Would it be too confusing if I came as more than one person? I could be Teleus, then leave and come back as MoW or Galen or Petrus or whomever, as long as I identified myself as such. But of course, this will not work if we get more people who want to be these characters. If you think it would be too bad, I'll take Aulus, Gen's huge cousin.

I think that's fine... don't change too often, though, or it will become very confusing very quickly. We are a little lacking in Eddisians, so if you're choosing just one character I might lean towards one of them. Aulus would be fun!

Or, as I've hinted several times but no one will listen to, gods are welcome. Might be fun to have Moira or Hephestia show up! :-)
