The kanji for "shinsou" means a very real and serious situation, but another set of kanji is pronounced the same way means heart. Japanese people love to do puns using kanji like this. Perhaps, I was reading in too much, but "The Heart of Reality" was a niece way to translate it. Staying true to the original meaning, but including any possible double meanings.
