Clearly, this one has been working on her fan-fiction far too much, because I just literally dreamt of reading the fourth book; and in that dream Aris was a spy for the Mede.

*imagines collective gasps*

Could this be a foreboding premonition or is it just a nightmare? I don't know why I dreamt that too, because I like Aris very much.

By the way, I hope I'm not the only one who has this problem of literally dreaming about the books. Am I just insane or has this happened to anybody else?

nah, you aren't insane. I dream about the books.
Actually, now I think of it that way you probably ARE crazy. XD
Oooh scary, Aris as a Mede spy!

I'm not sure I've ever dreamed about the books, though I feel like I must have... but I do have dreams similar to this in that someone whom you like and trust turns out to be terribly bad. (I dreamed once about my aunt like that, while she was staying in my house. Let me tell you, THAT was awkward!)

In regard to whether this is prescient at all, I don't think so-- or at least I would fervently hope it's not! I really love Aris, and it would be just gut-wrenching to have him turn out evil. I hope there is a role for him in the next book, but certainly not if we are in for any unpleasant surprises!

I love dreaming about books! I don't do it often, it does happen so you are not alone. I wish I could somehow aim my dreams every night.

I hope your dream is wrong, but we will see.

Same thing as everyone else here, I dream about it. As a matter of fact, I dreamed something that is in my fanfic (I'll point it out if it makes the final cut). Then, I had one dream where I had like 3 different books all together, and that was weird. Let's just say it involved a few Rick Riordan books (aka The 39 Clues-he wrote the first- and Percy Jackson). It is kind of weird when Gen is going on a hunt for the 39 Clues with the Olympians interfering, and on second thought, the gods whispering to him might not have been that different from the real books. However, Gen going Philadelphia, Paris, and Vienna in modern times was slightly disturbing and amusing at the same time (not to mention the fight he got in with other contestants aka the Kabras-again, I suggest reading the books to find out how funny it would be considering I could picture them as Gen's relatives, with their I-am-better-than-you-and-you-should-bow-to-me attitude). Oh, and if you want to thank someone for this insanity, thank my friend, who had me talking about 5 books/books series right when we were starting to go to sleep. Frankly, I'm surprised Gen didn't pull out a wand and do some magic or start saying that a towel is the most useful thing in the universe.

(P.S. For those who are wondering, yes, I mean Harry Potter and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, another two of my favorite series.)

Technically it wouldn't be a fairy, it is a wizard. The 39 Clues is all regular people, albeit most of the time they are very strange. There is a bit of a time difference, as they are in modern day but the clues they are searching are only from the 1550s and beyond (which, in my head, is after our Gen-world). With the Olympians, that is about a kid in the modern world, too, who just happens to be the son of Poseidon. Yes, this dream partially sparked our "Posiedon (and possibly more Olympians) will be in the next book because he is the god of horses and the sea, and he will teach Gen how to ride and help them cross the sea to get the Medes" discussion that produced this awesome wordle: http://www.wordle.net/gallery/wrdl/783991/Olympians_in_Chatzy

My friend, who pushed me to the dream of book series had a dream that somehow she ended up as the enemies of Gen, Irene, AND Helen, which wasn't a good spot to be (let's just say the dream didn't end very well for her, got with the opposite of what happened to Irene in QoA, and you'll get the picture). Again, I would hate to be the enemy of any one of the three, but all three, that would be a bad position (maybe the Medes should realize that!).

I also wanted to add a few notes about the wordle:

a) One word- "Posie"
b) My favorite part is "Aprhodite/Hephaestus" and under it "confused". I think that is an understatement. It also has "entertaining" above it. No further comment.

Unfortunately, it was her. She said it was kind of like a third person point of view in a way. I just said that I was happy I didn't have it and became content with my crazy three book series dream, at least I wasn't the one that Gen was after (in fact, it was just the characters in the book).

The Olympians series is AWESOME. The last book (the 5th-The Last Olympian) is coming out Tuesday. It is a different pace of book, because it is first person, and Rick Riordan throws in a lot of sarcasm, not to mention things like awesome chapter titles ("I Accidentally Vaporize My Pre-Algebra Teacher") and funny quotes ("The cafe windows wrapped all the way around the observation floor, which gave us a beautiful panoramic view of the skeleton army that had come to kill us."-The Titan's Curse). It is definitely a different reading experience from QT books, but I think it is good. They are really refreshing light (for me at least, I can normally finish them in a day or so) read that has enough action and information in all of it that makes you want to keep reading.

My dreams mix up books all the time, with equally funny results, especially when it combines with what I'm studying in school. The most memorable was a combination of A Wizard of Earthsea, Life of Pi, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and the French Revolution (which in the dream, took place after WWII).

And, I definitely remember to pack a towel whenever I travel. You never know.

I don't know, Aris seems pretty straightforward to me. But maybes he's just a REALLY good actor. God, I hope not.

This has actually happened to me, as well. I recently went on my first date, and me and my date talked about QT the whole time. One of the things we talked about was, in fact, a dream I had had, in which I was reading the final QT book (it was also being enacted around me - I have strange dreams, as you'll soon find out). The plotline was very similar to that of the battle of thermopoly (spelling? you know, the spartan one). Which seems so weird, but it could happen - one pass through the mountain, society based off of battles and war, etc. That would suggest that the Medes controlled Sounis, though - my date suggested that they would take over Sounis pretending to help Sophos to his throne. Which wouldn't work unless Sounis were dead. Obviously, we have a long way to go. Oh Megan, please write quickly!

Oh, and that was NOT the only time I'd dreamed about QT. That was the only dream based off of it - but the characters are frequently in my strange nighttime visions. There was a great one right after the roleplay chat, where Gen was, believe it or not, freezing meat. I BLAME ATTACKFISH

Now, ninedays, dear, do I have to introduce you to the evil sword of awesomeness and DOOM? TA remembers this.

But you HAVE to go to Chatzy! That specific one was the roleplay chat, which me and Kulai put together. Everyone chose a character and chatted as them. I was Irene, which was lots of fun. We even had a special visitor... but I'll leave you guessing on that craziness. Backlog here:

I was going to play Eddis, but then there was angst... no one stepped up to take Irene, and someone else wanted Eddis. So I switched.

Do I ever. If there's any weaponry being thrown around, do invite me - the duelling chopsticks are looking forlornly unused these days.

We do need to duel again sometime, don't we? Hasn't happened for a while...

I have to fight it out with Jade before Costis can actually marry me. But I have faith that I can prevail (don't tell Jade, don't tell Jade, don't tell Jade...).

I will probably join History_Haven for the education. But my brother, rrelf, I hope will join to actually contribute!

I daydream about the books, which is probably worse, because it's semi-intentional, but I don't remember my dreams, so I don't know if I dream about them too. I do know they affect my life, though. I was just looking at square-cut earrings today and thinking about how they never appealed to me before I read The Queen of Attolia...

Hahah, daydreaming's all I got for the Queens Thief books. I've had a dream with Liam Neeson randomly appearing though. Oh, and one where I was Link from the Legend of Zelda. Wolverine from the X-Men commonly cameos as well.

The only dream I can currently recall that was similar to yours is when I was going through my Pirates of the Caribbean faze in grade 8. Had a dream where Jack was a cabin's boy and snuck into the captain's quarters and stole the compass, and then had to jump out the window to escape being caught. It's so plausible to me that sometimes I forget that it isn't canon.
