Hello All!

Anyway, I have been a VERY long-time lurker, but while procrastinating today I stumbled upon some devaintart-work that reminded me so much of Eugenides and Sophos, especially since they seem to be on friendly terms/working together in Conspiracy of Kings. However, since lately I seem to sporadically squee at anything that remotely reminds me of MWT books, it could just be me.

Notice, this is NOT my artwork, but that of "tracyjb" on Deviantart, and these are HER characters, not MWT fanart. Just wanted to disclaim!!

Eugenides on the left, Sophos on the right? And they WOULD get caught in a field of sheep... 
Also, Tracyjb's other stuff is brilliant too, this one was just too perfect!

Hi guys, I have some info that all sounis members will be interested in, I think...
Owing to circumstances beyond my control, I have yet to get a legit livejournal account for myself, so I can't actually post this separately like I know I should. My sister recently found this snippet from A Conspiracy of kings floating around on Facebook that is different than the one that other people have posted. I couldn't say for sure that it is a legit piece of the book but i think it is and as far as i'm aware I don't think anyone has posted it on this site as of yet. Here it is:

The drawing made me giggle - even though the characters don't look like I imagine Gen and Sophos, the expressions and the situation are perfect! I think Gen's doing his 'not-at-all-long-suffering' thing, and Sophos is seeing right through it.

Someone should do a caption :)

lol i LOVE IT!
I can just imagine...Gen and Sophos plan on doing something rash. Ornon warns them, Gen clearly doesn't listen. Sophos has qualms but follows Gen. Ornon sets them up with the help of Gen's two bulky cousins from KoA and gets Gen back for the sheep incident! lol. Too funny!!

First really good depiction of gen in drawing!! (even though its not really him!)

Hah, i favourited that aages ago and didn't even remember it. Lackadaisy is awesome too. Rocky and Freckles = love.
Does look like i imagine Gen, and it's actually helped my mental image of Sophos along a bit...
