Date: 11/17/09 09:28 pm (UTC)I have five betta. Two are named after Transformers (Starscream and Skyfire) and two are named after Greek mythological figures (Hermes and Cerberus). And the fifth is named Philonikes which was totally stolen from The Thief. So yes. And there's your long winded answer for the day.
YOUR FISH IS SO ADORABLE, BY THE WAY! Now I feel a little less like a freaky fish lady. ;;
Thank you!
Date: 11/18/09 09:02 pm (UTC)Your fish have wonderful names!
I think I would have lots of bettas if I could, too. But I can only manage one at a time. (My sister has one named Severus Secundus, though. And yes, there was a Severus Primus).

Date: 11/18/09 02:05 am (UTC)We have a kitten called Eugenides. Strictly speaking, he doesn't belong to us, but turned up one day and wouldn't leave. Even when we shut all the doors and windows and blocked the catdoor, he still managed to find some way into the house. His thief-y house-breaking skillz won our hearts and his name.
(Actually, tencups_i_swear did the heart-winning and naming, while I was still going 'No! No more cats! Put him outside before Elderly Neurotic Feline starts going beserk!' I believe she posted a picture of him, along with Sophos the rubber duck, on her LJ, too.)

Date: 11/18/09 03:18 am (UTC)Your cats sounds adorable and what a fit name for a clever cat. My cat wasn't very clever, sadly. He once ran into something while chasing a mouse once, and he got stuck on the roof frequently.
BTW, TA. We are now holding chats on History Haven. We have them every other weekend, with a late night chat on Saturday and an afternoon chat on Sunday. I'll send you the password for the chat-room if you want to stop by.

Whoa. That is awesome.

Date: 11/19/09 08:02 am (UTC)But... but I thought you already knew that? I JEST, I JEST ;-)
I do quite like the song - it's one of those you seem to know by osmosis, really! But naming the cats after it seems a little... odd. Odd, but good.
