Christmas is coming and I could really use a latte. Is there anyone in the San Diego area who might like to meet up at Mysterious Galaxy bookstore which has a conveniently located Starbucks next door?

I highly recommend the Gingerbread latte--it's only out this time of year.

All dates are pretty much the same to me. We could do it Sunday, December 20, if you like. Understand, the poor people at Mysterious Galaxy are in the dark and I don't know that they could get the books in even if we gave them a heads-up. If it is better to get together after the Christmas rush, that's okay, too.

Can it be between Dec. 19 and Jan. 17 but not within a few days of Christmas please? I'm coming home around then and I'll probably be able to drive out to San Diego one day, but not around Christmas. Early January is much better.

That's it. I have to move to California. Right after I finish my paper on "Troilus and Cressida." Because that will happen any time now. (It's fun to use short sentances. Especially when you are used to stretching everything you write. Because of professors' page counts.)

Oh, oh! If you come BACK to the midwest..I'll give you uh..corn! And you know, come on who doesn't like corn? There's horses and tractor-cut-off-counting (as in counting how many farm vehicles cut you off when your driving)and horse riding..unless you're not into that..

Well...in all fairness, we plan to attempt to nab an ARC of Will Grayson, Will Grayson as well. But I will be mapping out the HarperCollins table first and dashing for it as soon as those exhibits open!
