It is a truth universally acknowledged that, for all the perv-asive undergarment curiosity hereabouts, *no one* is curious about Nahuseresh's, especially about how that nasty, itchy, & pleasingly permanent something unpleasant got in there. We don't want to know how Gen did it; we really don't.

Would it be worse losing your right hand or becoming a vampire?

Losing an appendage is serious stuff but it pales in comparision to transforming into one of the undead. But... Becoming a vampire does have its perks - immortality, walking up walls (Gen would like that), good night vision, flight. Then again, there is that unsatiable desire for blood that's always so troublesome with vampires.

I guess both could have happened, but that would be mean. And I don't want to be mean to poor Gen. Wait... I turned him into a vampire. That's mean. So wait... I am being mean to Gen.
