East, West, North, South
Jan. 13th, 2010 03:31 pmMy eighth grader are reading The Thief. Last week, we were reading aloud and found that in the book it said North, but on my kindle, it said "South" I do not remember which page it was, and I thought it was just my Kindle, BUT, today it happened again. On page 44 of one of the books it said "west to the foothills and east to the main road" Publish date 1998. The other one,(page 57) which is newer and my Kindle are opposite. Could this be why our interpretation for the maps are different? Have I stumbled upon a conspiracy?

My edition of The Thief (the UK Collins edition) says "west to the foothills and east along the main road", too.
