My eighth grader are reading The Thief. Last week, we were reading aloud and found that in the book it said North, but on my kindle, it said "South" I do not remember which page it was, and I thought it was just my Kindle, BUT, today it happened again. On page 44 of one of the books it said "west to the foothills and east to the main road" Publish date 1998. The other one,(page 57) which is newer and my Kindle are opposite. Could this be why our interpretation for the maps are different? Have I stumbled upon a conspiracy?

what I am most hoping to learn in Conspiracy of Kings:

whether or not Sophos is any good at kissing.

And as a side note, whether or not he ever spent time among bears. But that really is a side note.

So, what are you looking forward to?

p.s. also I meant to mention like this three weeks ago, but who would be interested in doing a weekly reread of the books? like, with weekly discussion posts. We'd probably have to cram it in order to have it done by the time CoK arrives, but I think it's still doable. I am happy to organize, I just needed to get a feel for people's reactions to this idea.
