Paperback CoK?

Does anyone know when the paperback version of CoK is coming out? Because I ordered paperbacks of the other three, and just realised that CoK is hardback and won't match (yeah, I like my series to do that) and will probably be more expensive to freight.

OTOH can I wait till a paperback comes out?

I have the exact same problem. And I'm obsessive enough to wait for the paperback to own.

I might do that. I read the first three from the library, but since I want to reread them, I need to own them now. This doesn't happen that often, as I couldn't support my reading habit otherwise. :-)

I may wait too, and hope the library gets a copy soon. The ones they have anyway are paperbacks, so I might be waiting a while. :-(

Also, I totally had that dilemna when KoA came out. I ended up getting the hardcover because libraries here don't have them but was sort of glad because the paperback falls apart really quickly. It has not-nice paper. OTOH, maybe the ACoK paperback will also have a new short story.

The library reinforces paperbacks here, and they seem to last quite well. Hard covers are nicer to read though, esp on my Book Seat.

Hmm. I want to get keep them the same, but then again, I could get the next two (is that right?) in hard cover, so at least I'd have three sets of three. :-)

Most paperbacks, as far as I know, come out almost exactly a year after the hardback.

You can get them in hardback, but good luck getting them with the new matching cover art! As far as I can tell, hardback versions of the Thief and QoA don't come in the new art. =(

No, I meant the future series: CoK and the next two. :-) Then I'll have three paperbacks and three hardbacks, which will be fine.

I was thinking that, but since I'll buy the next ones ASAP, they'll be hardbacks too. I may rethink when they're all out. The library can always do with extra copies. :-)

Ahaha, my friend Kyle's like that, but, uh, I'm not. All of my books are different versions and sizes. :I My Thief is the softcover of this: https://mywebspace.wisc.edu/pdcreswell/theif.jpg , my QoA is another softcover: https://mywebspace.wisc.edu/pdcreswell/queen%202.jpg , and my KoA is the newest hardback version, haha. I guess since the new hardback of CoA means that the hardbacks will outnumber, and I may eventually cave and get new Thief and QoA versions to match.

Honestly, this community must single-handedly account for all of MWT's book sales.
