A few KoA drawings

queensthiefI drew these awhile ago and am unveiling them -- swoosh -- now, in semi-conjunction with the readalong:
This is after that dance they do. Um, Attolia on the left, Eugenides on the right? Attolia is busy trying to put her hairpins back in after Gen temporarily stole them. He's saying "Of course."
I think I show Attolia's taller-ness inadequately, and it especially looks like they're about the same height because her head is tilted. And she's not nearly beautiful enough.
Also, do not ask about Gen's tights! I really have no idea why I drew him wearing them. Maybe he's dressing up like the bee earrings. ...???
Gen and Costis after the assassination attempt. If you can't read my handwriting, Costis is thinking, "Ten cups! I said ten gold cups! But I'm so glad the little goatfoot is safe and alive." While saying, "Keep going, Your Majesty." Gen is swearing.
Critiquing: I had no idea what to do with the uniform. Was he even wearing a uniform, since he was about to leave for vacation with Aris? Anyway, his sword shouldn't be in a sheath, and he should probably be wearing a helmet. Oh vell. (And again with the puffy shorts. ...???)
I am also aware that the colors of Gen's outfit are nowhere near what he was actually wearing, but I'd drawn it and colored it in before Anachred posted the lovely yarns with the actual colors of his outfit. So imagine that he's wearing yellow and red, not pink and blue!

These were fun to draw. You can kind of see that the first one is on the back of a printed piece of paper, which was the study guide for my history final. :)

And one time this was going along as usual, and my dog Tie did in fact burp, and I did, in fact, say, "my dog just burped" right after TA said "and in yours". And it kinda stuck. It's now the unofficial sign-off for some of us in the Conspiracy Room.
And that is truly my dog, Tie in the icon. He is one of the Attolian hunting dogs. He eats people.
