I actually DON'T like the name "Queen's theif" I know it's next to impossible to talk about the series without spoilers, but I think that it spoils the impact of the surprise of The Theif.

I was all in favor of just calling it "Thief." Conversely, "Annux" is an idea that doesn't even becoming meaningful until after the end of the third book, so that could be at the opposite end--- *so* spoilerish it's not a spoiler anymore because no one understands it.

I am drawn to "Annux" becasue it takes me back to that amazing, epic feeling in the last chapter. I still get chills everytime I read it. And I agree about it being so spoilerlish as to be nor spoilry at all. Very like how HP fans knew "Deathly Hallows" was to be the title of the last HP book and yet we were all scratching our heads, making up (some wild) theories as to what they were and what would happen. It didn't spoil a thing.
And seriously who reading the Theif would believe Gen could even become an Annux?!

This one is so true; only yesterday my friend picked up KoA and I (very) quickley snatched it from her hands so she would see the title because, of course, I want her to read the books. =}

That's mine! And it *is* how I refer to them (although I do sometimes shorten it a bit to just "Those-Books-You-Have-To-Read," as in, "dear sister, have you read Those-Books-I-Keep-Telling-You-That-You-Have-To-Read yet? Why not?")
