Have any of you guys ever heard of readalouds?

There's a Harry Potter one here: hpreadaloud. The basic premise is that members of the community sign up to record themselves reading a chapter of the Harry Potter books. Then the chapters are all uploaded onto the lj community and -voila!- we've got a fan-created audiobook.

Does anyone feel up to doing something similar for the QT series? I could get a signup started either here (Rowana? Your call?) or over at the Megaron.

I've already recorded the first two chapters of QoA (I've got way too much time on my hands) so even if you guys don't feel like/aren't able to record your own chapters, would you be interested in hearing other people (like me? lol) read the books.

Is this a good idea? Should I post my chapters so you can hear them? Let me know!

I think this would be fun if there aren't any copyright issues, and Ms. Turner is cool with it.

That sounds fantastic! Start a signup here, by all means. :) It's what the comm is for. Posting your own chapters sounds like a good idea too. People might be less self conscious about doing it if someone else has already started it. :)
