Because we're all waiting around for A CoKs it's time we EXERCISE! What kind of Exercise you ask? An exercise for promtings! Pretty much you take one theme and write a sentence about it relating it to any book in the series (except ACoK's!) :D
So you can do 1 or 2 or all 49 if you like! :-)

Note: I pretty much shamelessly stole this from two great writers Inkasrain and violet_echos.

#18 - Speed
{Speculation!} He tried again and again, but Costis's clumsy fingers on the delicate picking tools just couldn't match the king's for speed.

#34 - Lightning/thunder
"Before he became a god, he was the only mortal who ever stole the Sky God's lightning bolts--although I'd say his namesake could give him a run for his money, if they were on even footing."

#45 - Hell
The moment he saw the Mede's silhouette appear on the ridge, he entered his own private, personal hell.

These books are a comfort to me every time I read them, especially when I've just come from reading a mediocre non-mwt story.

#5. Friend
It's what Eddis is being when she joins Gen on the roof or talks to him when he's sick.

#9. Help
What Nahuseresh brought to the battle and what the Medes offered wasn't quite what the residents of the peninsula wanted.

#10. Ears
Ears are what you hang earrings on and present to a queen when you don't want her to recognize that you're pretending to be one of her guards.

#21. Life
What makes it worth living, and how do the gods help us understand its true nature?

#24. Taste
She disapproved of his taste in canary yellow shirts and sashes.

#24. Taste, again
It really ruins the taste of your food when there's sand in it.

#26. Forever
He chose to spend forever with the woman he loved, and he chose to spend forever far away from what had been his home.

#33. Anger
The attendants tried not to wince as they heard another inkpot smash.

#45- Sun: In Sounis' prison, he watches the slant of sunlight moves across the rough stones and pretends that he doesn't feel an occasional flicker of panic.

#44- Hell: In Attolia, he doesn't bother pretending; there's no one to see him in hell, anyhow.

#32- Confusion: He's trapped again- the only difference is that he built the prison himself, this time; he's not certain if that makes it easier or unbearably harder.

#5- Friend: She found him on the overhang of a rooftop; Crossing her arms and raising her eyebrows, she waited for him to come down.

#18- Speed: Eugenides wasn't sure he had the speed to clear the moat, but there wasn't another option.

#22- Jealousy: Eugenides remembered the ambassadors heavily styled beard. Probably braids it with his own two hands, he thought.
