Date: 7/27/10 01:36 am (UTC)My favorite lines are the one in this icon, and also the one (and here I'm going by memory, so I'm sure someone will correct me where I've gone wrong) where Gen is in Attolia's prison silently praying, O my god, if you will not save me, make me less afraid.

Date: 7/27/10 02:06 am (UTC)Hmm...favorite lines. There are always so many!
In keeping with your quote, sort of, I'll pick one of Ornon's more perceptive descriptions of Gen: "I have seen him jump across atriums four stories above the ground, a distance that would make your blood freeze, and I heard him once confess that he sometimes thinks the distance is beyond him. He always jumps..."
Such a stunning analysis of Gen's mode of operation. Plus, it gives me chills in the same way that the quote from your picture does.
Again, thanks!

Date: 7/27/10 04:17 am (UTC)Such an awesome line...
I made it my mode of operation while sprinting down the hill at my house. It was terrifying...
I loved it. XD

Date: 7/27/10 04:04 am (UTC)Yeah, so do I, but mainly in The Thief/ Queen of Attolia. He starts looking older and pointier from KoA onwards...

Date: 7/27/10 03:44 am (UTC)I think his skin should be darker, but I LOVE the scar, and just the general shape-of-everything. It is gorgeous.

Date: 7/27/10 04:02 am (UTC)Alas, my imagination is a strange and terrible place in which Eugenides is ALWAYS too pale... :(
I will try to finish it and make him darker skinned. Computer crashes in which you lose all your work are enthusiasm-crushing...

Date: 7/27/10 05:10 am (UTC)The line that is still rolling around in my head is "We eat the chicken now!" I realize it's way off from the tone of all other lines proffered but I can't stop thinking about it! :)

Date: 7/27/10 04:54 pm (UTC)I agree w/Jade he could be a tad bit more darker, but he seems "pale" it definitely, in my mind, goes with the scene Checkers mentioned above.
<3 x infinity!
Can we get this icon-ified?

"They had a cart"
That line cracks me up every time, and it's short so at least I have a chance of remembering it.

Date: 7/28/10 03:31 am (UTC)As for my favourite line... hmm... there are just so many to choose from. But the one that springs to mind (though I can't remember the exact words now) is when Costis accuses Eugenides of bringing his honour into question, and Eugenides say, "That's not your honour, Costis, it's the public perception of your honour. They're two very different things."
