... I couldn't stop myself.
I drew another picture.
I have at least six assignments to do, but alas, I am addicted.

They are drawn from The Thief, and I made Gen's skin darker, as requested.
I know some people think that Sophos having blonde hair is weird, but that's always how I imagined him, and I never actually gave it much thought until now, he just appeared in my head that way. :p

After watching nearly all the animated movies I own, I wanted to try drawing a little differently. I'm pretty happy with how it came out.

I dunno, but something about this style reminds me of the movie "Treasure Planet". I thiiink it's either the hair or the boots. Either way, it's fantastic. You captured Gen so well, and I've always pictured Sophos as blond. Love your fanart!

I always pictured Sophos as blond also...it did happen in the Mediterranean area, but very rarely.
Anyway, I felt vindicated when I got aKoC and Sophos' hair is blond on the cover.

Man, this is great! You always do that, though :) Only one thing I'd point out --- their boots should be switched. Gen's boots are ankle boots, and although we don't know what Sophos's boots look like, they're probably more standard-style aristocratic boots... whatever that looks like.

P.S. Gen's posture is absolutely how I picture him standing when he's messing with people. "What? Get on a horse? I don't want to do that. Go away."

Loving the postures! I love Gen's expression as well.
I've always imagined Sophos to have blonde hair as well, but I think he might look a little too much like Draco Malfoy in this picture. Erm, just my opinion of course. A bit to pale, pointy and dark clad.

Those are beautifully done; lovely lines and colouring. Gen is so very Gen in his stance and expression [loves] and Sophos looks more uncertain and I like that he has something to read.

Sophos is Draco Malfoy pale, not really how I pictured him at all. But I like the costumes a lot. And Gen's pose seems perfectly in-character. =D

Have you ever seen the movie Treasure Planet? Your Gen looks mighty like Jim Hawkins. Great art! I'm glad you drew Sophos' hair short...He does not have straight long hair in my mind...
