Hi everyone,
I'm a very infrequent poster here, though I pop over and read what's going on often. I thought you'd all like to know that ACOK is one of the books selected in the School Library Journal's Battle of the Kids' Books. This is the third year of the "battle," and MWT was a judge last year, if you're thinking it sounds familiar. The 16 titles have all been just announced and the battle is great fun to watch. I always like to read as many of the books as I can, it's a great place for finding some great books I haven't heard of yet.
Also, people get to vote at the very beginning (the battle gets underway in March, I think) which book they would like to "come back from the dead" and be a part of the final round, even if it gets eliminated earlier in the match. I certainly know which book I'm voting for :)
~Jen, who would love to hear how people think ACOK stacks up to the other 15 books
