I'm sure that you've all already played with Google Guitar, the interactive Google doodle in honor of Les Paul.

And that you know that if you press the "record" button and type in a string of numbers or letters, it will "translate" that into a melody.

So, of course we've spent the evening typing in the names of some of our favorite characters.  Most of the QT names, mmmeeehh, but "Eugenides" is just perfect -- deceptively simple but with dark undercurrents.

And "Sophos" -- can't you just hear that bunny hop-hop hoppin'?

Sadly, it was the google doodle for June 9th, the birthday of Les Paul - the famous jazz and country guitarist and an innovator of the solid-body electric guitar.

You'll have to wait until google puts it up on their google doodle (http://www.google.com/logos/) page to try it out. =(

If you go to Google's home page, the guitar is still there. Go and give it a try, fast! I've been playing with it all day.

It's on the doodle page now, so it's here to stay for your enjoyment.
