Hey, guys!

Is anyone familiar with the Drifters' song "Up on the Roof" ? I've been listening to it (again and again) lately, and it's perfect for Gen, or Gen and Eddis, or Gen and his mom.

What role does the roof play in QT? It seems to be a place that Gen can escape to (or use as an escape route) throughout the books, and it even plays a similar role for Eddis in that one scene of CoK. And then there's the whole Costis/Gen/Eugenides-the-god scene in KoA...

I just can't stop playing "Sosban Fach" over and over again ever since my friend was playing a Cerys Matthews CD (and I was all like "It's the saucepan song!!!") Now I can switch it out for this so thanks for postin' this! (Welsh is good for the soul...In moderation)

Ok, so maybe Costis made a surprise visit from Wherever-the-heck-he-is because he really like whatever song they're singing???? ... I realized after I drew him that the Magus might fit in a little better. :S
