Happy (Early) Valentines Day to my fellow Sounisians!! :) What do you think our friends on the Peninsula would be up to right now? How would they be preparing and for what?

I would also like to share a love story about our favorite charcters.  This is a video I made of[livejournal.com profile] booksrgood4u's poem "A Love Like No Other," that I gave to my giftee during the Secret Santa, which I am now sharing with you for Valentine's day:

A Love Like No Other from 1221bookworm on Vimeo.

Special Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] ninedaysaqueen for all her help picking out actors and actresses, and to [livejournal.com profile] peggy_2 for the Japeneese covers.

Enjoy!!

P.S. If the video doesn't play, just refresh the page... it can be persnikety sometimes ...

You know I love it!! It's great for Valentine's Day too...I really love the music you used ;p

About what the QT gang would be up to, Sophos would be writing a lengthy love poem to Helen, and Gen would be plotting ways he could smuggle Irene out of the palace for a 'date'....maybe on a boat ;)

The video is wonderful! The poem, photos and music all go together so well, and the pictures are especially awesome. What program did you use to make it?

Maybe in Attolia "Sandy" is restraining herself from putting sand in the king's lamb for one night, in celebration of the royal couple's rumored love. And Ornon is writing an Ode to his Lost Sheep.

Hmm, and what about Costis?

I could just see Gen setting Costis up on a blind date for Valentine's Day...Maybe one of the queen's attendants...Or one of his many Souninsian admirers!

Yay! I'm so glad I got to see it!

Wonderful, dear. I already loved the poem, now I Iove it even more. :) You used the Craig Horner pictures especially well. Now excuse me, while I daydream about him playing Gen some more in a film adaption. I <3 the music!

I think Sophos is probably trying to get Helen to approve them having their wedding on Valentines Day, Helen is desperatly trying to stop Sophos' romantic mind from getting too wild, I agree with booksrgood4u about Gen's plans for the holiday both for himself and Costis, Costis just might suspect Gen (he's not as dumb as he can appear), and Attolia also might suspect Gen and just might tell him definently 'no' but secretly hopes he'll go ahead anyway.

That's what I think they're doing. Just maybe. Oh, and checkers65477 is right about Ornon. Either that, or he's planning some very elaborate parade to bug Gen.

You see, Bookworm and I have a plan for Ornon...First we have to find him a wife, then he needs to get married and have twelve kids...Even if he spends on five minutes a day with each child, that's one hour that he's not bugging Gen!

So yeah, this Valentine's Day, Gen will be looking for a nice girl to marry Ornon off too ;p

Agape/Ornon. Now there's a thought!

Maybe, Gen should save Costis as a plea-bargain for Sandy. XD

This is amazing! It's very fairy tale-ish (in a perfect way), and all of the visuals are lovely. :)

Ok, I'm confused... Who's Sandy?

Oops...Sandy is the name we Sounisians gave to whoever it is who puts sand in Gen's food all the time...Get it?

Sandy is the nickname Leslie ([livejournal.com profile] aged_crone) came up with for the woman who is still putting sand in the king's food. Remember when poor Sophos had to eat that sandy chicken? Thus the term Sandy! XD

Ah, but who ever said 'Sandy' was a girl?

"There is still someone in the kitchen who adores the queen, dislikes Eddisians, and hates me."

"She just hasn't met you, I'm sure."

"She has, actually."

-p 202

Good point! :) But since Gen repeated the pronoun "she," we're assuming it's a girl. Time will though...
