I am relatively new to the complex art of photomanipulation, but I made this and thought it came out pretty well. Here's Rob Moore as Gen (not exactly true to my image of him, but somewhat similar) and Eva Green as Irene (I think she looks just right). If anyone has any criticisms, I'm always looking to improve.

He's adorable, and somehow I did always imagine Gen with that nose because in my head, I - for no particular reason - connect a slight upturn with having an impish personality?

But I'm pretty sure we're whitewashing him, guys.

Which is easy enough when we don't know his actual ethnicity for sure (not in that he's not European, but he's a pretty dark European, if I recall correctly) and super white Caucasian actors are the easiest to find, but... *continues search for someone with olive skin*

This is great! I love the expression on Irene's face - It's kind of the tolerant I'm pretending to ignore you look...At least that's the feeling I get. Very nice ;)

Ooh...Are you de-lurking? Should I be saying 'Welcome to Sounis'? And if not, I'll just say 'I'm glad you're here'!

Welcome, and thanks for sharing that. I imagine Gen a little more hook-nosed (oops, H-word, sorry Gen). Doesn't it say somewhere that Helen is, too? But I imagine Irene's eyebrows as being straight across, exactly like this.
