Attolia

So, I knit. I knit quite a lot, and that means that I buy a lot of yarn. I recently purchased some reddish lace-weight that reminds me a lot of Attolia and I think that it wants to be an Attolia shawl. No such thing exists, which means I'll be designing and charting it myself, and that means I can put whatever I want on it.

So, what reminds you of Attolia? I'm thinking bees of some sort, and a Greek key shape (like this ), possibly lilies and/or crowns, and maybe some words around the outside if I can work out the stitch count but that isn't enough to fill up a shawl of the size I'm picturing. So give me your Attolia symbols! Please and thank you. :)

I wanted to start out with a flower in the center (just because I like the way that looks)--orange blossoms are perfect! Thank you!

Haha. We'll see. It might turn out horribly and be banished to the back closet; it if does not, I will certainly post it here, :).
