rowana started working on tags for our entries a while ago, and since we have more than 250 entries now, it would be nice to have a way to more easily find past entries of interest. I'll work on adding tags to existing entries, but wondered what ones would make the most sense. Here's what we have so far: actors, book recommendations, chats, chat transcripts, crack, gen, humor, member introductions, king of attolia, music, mwt, queen of attolia, readaloud, spoilers, thief.
Anyone have ideas for additional categories for entries? You can now add tags to the entries you post to Sounis.
On a completly unrelated note, I think
jade_sabre_301 may be a genius. She said, some time ago, that she wondered if the ruby earrings Gen gave to Attolia were the same earrings Eddis accuses Gen of stealing in chapter 4 of QoA. What do you all think about that?

Date: 11/27/06 12:35 am (UTC)I don't think the earrings are the same either, because of the reasons already stated by Philia. There was a point in QOA where Attolia was wearing the earrings in front of Eddis. I think it was when Attolia and Eddis forgot about Gen locked in a room.

[I like the comment about doing whatever he wants...that's true.] He's playing with Eddis, I think, trying to see if he can actually leave her without making her feel abandoned, betrayed. And maybe he knows the two are meant to be friends, and is making sure they get all their differences under the bridge!
I think Gen would totally notice if they matched, and didn't he think they didn't go well on Eddis? It would be a perfect move for him; he steals them so Eddis wouldn't wear them (he hated her dressing up for her courtiers' pleasure) and Attolia would have something from him that was too irresistably useable (i.e. matching perfectly) to not eventually put on. And it shows he's paying attention to her, down to the headband's shade of red.
Of course, when she puts them on, it's very to the point. It's all a gigantic subtle message round.

He doesn't seem to be the type who goes out of his way to give gifts, so it would just make it all the more special that he went to the trouble to obtain custom-made jewelry for the woman he loves.
