I was just rereading (for the millionth time) QoA, and I came across this (in regards to when Kamet & Nahuseresh escaped from Ephrata): "The slave released him, and in the confusion they managed to reach the outer stairs to the harbor. They swam to a Mede ship moored in the harbor and escaped. I'm very sorry." (p.323)
TaT - SPOILER ALERT!!!!
Yet - in TaT, Kamet can't swim.
So, my question: how did he escape from Ephrata? I am thinking that the Mede swam to the ship, towing Kamet along...but given how terrified of water he is, that must have been one awful journey. Thoughts? Any other ideas?
