Once again, fans, we have ourselves a fantastic update to our readaloud. checkers65477 has finished Chapters 3 and 4 of Queen of Attolia, so I would invite members to take a trip over there and listen to them. Her recording is perfectly lovely!

Also, a quick note: I want to apologize to anyone who may have sent me a chapter and has been waiting for it to go up. I'm sorry that's it's taken so long, and I'll do my best to get that ball rolling. I appreciate everyones' efforts with this project!

My first thought was: she has an American accent! Well, obviously if I thought about it I knew you would, Checkers, but still. You have a lovely reading voice. I've put copies of MWT on hold at the library (mine are all out on loan) and will do a chapter too, even if everyone so far sound FAR better than my reading voice :)

Thank you. I keep telling you I'm not wrathful at all. I can't seem to help the peaceful part - I tried to pep it up a bit but just couldn't manage it.

It's funny that everyone seems so surprised to hear my American accent. :) I did try to keep my twang out of it and make my vowels nice like dannybailey's.

I'm with aged_crone on this, though. One's own voice sounds whiny.

That's b/c Emmaco is Australian and I'm a Brit. I wonder which you Americans would find more surprising, the British accent or Australian.

I know you aren't wrathful, Checkers, except to chewing-gum-on-books-people. That's understandable. Everyone would be wrathful about that.

Wait, this means what with WRATH that I am actually the wrathful one. How has this happened?!!!!

I love the comment Eddis mentions about the curls in Gen's hair when cut short. I had forgotten about it, and it was such a nice mental picture i just had to smile :)
