Am I the only one who loves ACoK more with each rereading? Dear, dear Sophos. Bunny! It's a bit of an easier book to read--more linear and easier to follow, but with clever political intrigue and tremendous character development. It's so much fun to see characters we thought we knew all about through the eyes of Sophos.
We'll continue with our reread chats tomorrow, Sunday September 20 to discuss A Conspiracy of Kings and the short story Wine Shop. Scans of the short stories are available HERE for Sounis members.
The chat will take place at this time:
4pm Pacific Time
5pm Mountain Time

It's always been an enjoyable read and I was so excited to finally learn where Sophos had been, plus I love the Sophos/Helen story, but it wasn't until this reread where I highlighted generously in my ebook that I really saw this as a masterpiece on par with the others. The whole book is like a love letter to Helen and Sophos really is an ideal, equal friend for Gen, not just a hanger-on fanclub.
