I'm in an online class and there's a guest speaker this evening, her name is EUGENIA and she just signed into zoom and the first thing I noticed was that she is wearing AMAZING earrings. My whole evening is made.

Ha, I love this! And it reminds me: I just bought myself a new pair of ginormous dangly earrings (fairly inexpensive ones that just caught my fancy) for the first time in a long while, and I almost put them back, because, uh, the last couple years have had a deteriorative effect on my fashion sense (such as it was), to say the least, and my own preference shifted towards more dainty and subdued accessories... BUT THEN, I saw these, and remembered how I got my ears pierced BECAUSE I read The Queen of Attolia, and I could hear the little shoulder-Eugenides whispering "DO IT!!" xD I think I need to start wearing my golden bees and perhaps my dagger earrings again, too!
