A chat reminder first of all! It's time for our usual fortnightly chat this Saturday, which will be held in The Conspiracy Room as usual. Everyone's welcome, particularly new members who are looking to introduce themselves or get talking about the books. New members should also note that the chat room is open for everyone to drop into at any time.

The password to enter the room can be found at the bottom of this post. Please glance at, and take heed of the guidelines before using the room.

The chat will be held at the following time, depending on where you are in the world:

9-10pm GMT
4-5pm Eastern Time
3-4pm Central Time
1-2pm Pacific Time

If your timezone isn't listed and you're having trouble figuring out when it'll be held in your time, leave a comment here.


We've been getting a lot of new members lately. You're all very welcome! If anyone wants to introduce themselves or ask a question but is having trouble with livejournal, or doesn't want to use the chat room, feel free to leave a comment here, or on any post, doing so.

I also wanted to mention the Sounis Readaloud again. This is our unofficial audiobook in progress. Anyone can sign up to read and record a chapter from one of the books onto their computer, follow the email guidelines, and have their reading become part of the set.

If anyone signed up for a chapter but is no longer able to do it, for any reason, send an email to dannybailey or one of the moderators letting us know, so that we can free up the chapter for someone else. I'm afraid I'm going to have to set a deadline on completion of a chapter once you sign up for it - but a very long deadline. A whole year in fact. If you still haven't recorded the chapter a year after signing up for it, the chapter will be opened up again.

(I think I may just have edged up the deadline for myself too. I just obligated myself to kick myself off certain chapters if they're not done by...sometime this summery? I'll have to check that)

To be honest, there is almost always someone in there. Maybe you should add this so newbies know they don't have to wait til the next chat to introduce themselves.
