Soundtrack of Dreams

There was a post along these lines a couple of days ago, which reminded me of an old idea....if we could set music to Thief, KoA, and QoA - aka for the movie of our dreams...what tracks would you choose? (I know I listened to Yanni's In My Time during my entire reading of KoA, and it was absolutely surreal. I love listening to music while reading books I love - but sorry, off topic. ) Tracks could have lyrics or not.

I've been thinking...

Attolia's Theme - "He's Been Arrested For Espionage", from Spy Game (Track 3) Sooooo Attolia. I kind of imagine her looking out of the window of her erstwhile first fiance's castle windows (before she killed him, of course...) and then, again, while spending insomniac nights in KoA...and I can't shake off the suspicion that Evanescence's Lithium might even be something Attolia might think (in very cold, analytic terms, of course.)

(This, of course, would be outright plagiarism, but since this is only castles in the air, so who cares?): the Laser Song from Ocean's Twelve for Eugenides' escapes/exploits/chase scenes. I think it's called Nikkifurie de Caution or a la menthe or something.

Sibylla (from Kingdom of Heaven)  or Apparition in the Fields (The New World) for the flashback when Gen watches Irene dance in the garden.

Ghosts (Road to Perdition) most appropriately enough for when the Thief discovers the secret room in the temple...

It would, of course, be cliche to recommend the Pirates of the Caribbean stuff for some of the swordfights, but I can't resist. Who can? Which reminds me: we'd need a good theme for Gen. Remember Jack Sparrow's theme? totally defines the character. we need one for Gen!
I didn't even wet my feet here - this was totally off the top of my head. There's tons of fabulous music out there and awesome scenes to match it to....

Am I the only one who loves this stuff? Anybody game? Let the suggestions begin!

I The Barenakedladies song Shoebox always reminded me of Gen, because the speaker lies alot and feels in over his head (and according to the booklet that came with the CD, It's about a young man in a relationship with an older woman. Meredith Brook's Bitch reminds me of Irene speaking to Gen. Especially the line "I'm your hell, I'm your dream"
