Who has seen 300!? All the guys at my high school are obsessed with it leaving all the girls in their usual speculation, not really getting it. Just like Star Wars.

It was nice to see some more good 'ol Greek culture at the movies (Yes, I know Gen lives in a 'Byzantine world, but deep down, we all know its Greek at heart tehehehe.)

I'm actually not sure how many other guys lurk or contribute to this community...who else liked 300? I thought it was pretty inspiring.

As well you should be getting complaints-- my parents nicknamed me after Wicket, and it set the tone for my life. =)

Of course, you mention being in school, and so I will concede that if these girls did not grow up on the original trilogy, I honestly can't blame them for not giving a damn about the prequels. Even for a die-hard, they were embarassing. (Note to Holywood: DON'T LET LUCAS WRITE SCRIPTS. EVER.)

Please, oh please. Just because he can make entertaining stories doesn't mean George Lucas should be allowed to write. EVER. He basically slaughtered his own canon with Episode Three. It was so much better when he just had the ideas. *disgust*

I maintain that the Anakin/Padme dialog about love and beauty and all that crap is one of the most sickening things ever written. Love makes me blind and therefore you're beautiful because I can't see you? What the hell, Lucas. What the hell.
