queensthiefAlright, I finally gave in and created a livejournal account so I can post. I've spent time here at work doing it, yes, I'll probably get fired. Oh well. Jessica, the pressure is on! I believe you may be the only other holdout.
I wanted to remind everyone (and tell newbies) to please not post spoilers on this main page until our fearless leader Rowana has read KOA. Curse you, Amazon! After that I have MANY questions for all of you.
And the first is this - which I'm going to ask now. Did KOA seem almost TOO incomprehensible and ambiguous in order to hide what was going on? For example, Gen at the temple, which we talked about in another thread. I had to work really hard to make sense of some things and that might keep many readers from understanding the entire story, especially since the book is marketed as YA. I felt that way, to some degree, with QOA, too, but this was HARD. Whatcha think?
