queensthiefI'm re-reading The Thief, and reached page 8 when I noticed this:
The Magus to Gen: "'We might someday attain a relationship of mutual respect,' he said softly. First, I thought, I will see gods walking the earth."
True. He does. And then they do.
For some reason I get a very big kick out of that.
