Japanese versions part 2, Queen of Attolia

Queen of Attolia is in two volumes.  The two together are a little bigger than the US version of KoA.

QoA, Volume 1:

but this time it is hovering over the image of Attolia dancing the harvest dance in the garden.  [side note - this is the scene which makes me think of the Cars song, Touch and Go - Gen falling in love with an unreachable "star"].

I've fangirled these covers since I first ran across them on some internet site. It was the Icing On The Cake Made Of Awesome to find the inside of the books rivaled the outside for beauty.

The covers and the insides are gorgeous.

Attoila looks very young in the dancing season - pre-teen age. So the illustrator must not see the age difference between gen and Attoilla as that great. (With the amount of detail put in I'm assuming the illustrator has read the books)

Still not my mental Attolia. Too young and too gentle. BUT STILL BEAUTIFUL AND BY THE WAY SHE'S DANCING IN THE GARDEN.
