I suggested this a few days ago on [livejournal.com profile] athanarel, where it met with a pretty good response, so I thought I'd try it here.

Would anyone be interested in taking part in a group for young writers, whether on LJ or Yahoo? What I have in mind is more of a feedback group than a critique group, where you can get an unbiased second look at your work from sympathetic writers who know what it's like to be dealing with school and work and family and scenes that have to be rewritten seven times, as well as a place to talk about writing in general.

And, if you're interested, would you prefer LJ or Yahoo?

[livejournal.com profile] willow_41z, I am ashamed to admit that I cannot write creatively AT ALL. However, I would be willing to read others' writing and give gentle feedback. I don't know much about writing conventions, but I know what I like and don't like. :) Perhaps I would not be much help.

It's a great idea.

And I keep meaning to tell you, I love the duct tape icon. Don't get it, but I love it.
