Thief from Tangled

queensthief*Spoilers for Tangled*
I just went and saw Disney's Tangled with a friend and the thief character in the movie kept reminding me of someone else. Here are a few similarities I noticed:
1: His name is Eugene. Which means "well-born" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugene_%28given_name%29
2: He dislikes horses.
3. He's obsessed with his appearance.
4. He's cocky.
5. He gets a cut on his hand. Ok he doesn't lose his hand, but it still made me smile.
Anyone else see the movie and agree? See any more similarities?

7. The scene in the boat.
8. Two wounds in similar places (#5 is one of them)
9. Jumping rooftops
10. He fights left-handed!
YAY! 10 things!
