Happy Hobbit Birthday, MWT!
Dear Megan,
After giving you our best birthday wishes, we thought we'd mix it up a little. In honor of the upcoming debut of The Hobbit movie (no, not that one), we thought we'd celebrate your birthday hobbit-style.
As it says in The Fellowship of the Ring:
In this spirit, we'd like to ask for just little things, namely, details we'd like to see in the next book. Nothing huge or spoilery, just fun. So come out, you little furry-footed Sounisians, and make your requests known! And don't worry about sneaking out through the back way--we have a revolving gate. :-)
After all, it's her birthday, my loves, and we wants it.

As it says in The Fellowship of the Ring:
[Bilbo] gave away presents to all and sundry--the latter were those who went out again by a back way and came in again by the gate. Hobbits give presents to other people on their birthdays. Not very expensive ones, as a rule, and not so lavishly as on this occasion; but it was not a bad system. Actually in Hobbiton and Bywater every day in the year it was somebody's birthday, so that every hobbit in those parts had a fair chance of at least one present at least once a week. But they never got tired of them.

Jade, this is the most brilliant (and hilarious) idea for a post ever.
Personally, I would like to see Gen and an Oliphaunt. ;)

Also, I love seeing Gen interact with his father and cousins. More family bonding, please!
Happy birthday, MWT!

More boys' nights out. =P
Kidding!
Or maybe not.
Okay, don't mean to sound like a broken record here (since I've said this a couple of times before) but I really want to see Attolia/MoW bonding scene. Or at least being friendly with each other. Talking about how Gen's a pain in the neck.

And hopefully I get my wish.
Also, Gen in good health. *frets*

(Anonymous) 2012-11-24 10:06 pm (UTC)(link)I've already said that I want Oliphaunts. And so has everybody else, so....
The Magus got a bath in the last one, so maybe NAHUSERFISH will get a SHAVE in the next one!

It's hard to survive on just a few crumbs when each of those crumbs hints at the banquet unseen!!!!!

What I want to see is in the next book is more family bonding, more Sophos/Gen moments...and Sophos and Costis.
More Gen and Eddis moments :)
More Gen/Attolia <3
When the next book will be out.

I'd like to see Costis again. There was a Costis-shaped hole in my heart after reading ACoK. (I know, I know... before that we were like, "WE WANT TO SEE SOPHOS, SO GIMME GIMME!" Please try to keep up with our demands.)
And I'm really consumed with the idea of someone stealing something from Gen. I'm not sure why. Or how exactly. I just love it when the tables are turned.

Oh, wow. Now THAT is a spectacular idea.
What kind of thing could be stolen?
(Now I'm trying to think if it's happened. He's lost things, but nothing Stolen, per se).
I love it.

As for others stealing other things from Gen, methinks that is a job for the next "Gen"eration. Those baby Gens and Irenes could do it pat.

I was thinking more about the hand. o.O I don't know if he would consider it stolen, though. He seems to think it was his fault, although I think it was the gods' fault. In either case, you can consider it either lost or stolen. It certainly wasn't taken with his consent, so there's an argument for the latter. On the other hand, it was taken with his knowledge. So I don't know if that would count as stealing.
I don't want to think about that too much :( so I'll go back to hoping for a less devastating, and more clear-cut, thievery from him. :D
