I've just been rereading The Thief for the nth time and relishing all the little tiny hints that MWT drops. Stuff like him mentioning braiding his hair way in the beginning and all. :D

I love the bit about the hair-braiding! I used to try to braid shit into my hair as a kid and it never worked, so Gen must have had a very thick braid indeed....

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that! As for a party? **grins hopefully** We could all bake a cake involving at least one ingredient MWT mentioned somewhere in the books? And then have a grand picture posting?

A chat sounds like a great idea! Also, does anyone remember if we've ever done a community reread? Setting dates to finish rereading each of the books (or maybe take half at a time, for the longer ones), and everyone shows up for a discussion post?

We did one for the first three books to celebrate the release of CoK. OMG... that was such a long time ago!

A community re-read for TT, especially would be fun. I believe everyone signed up to lead the discussion by chapter groups.

I'm sympathizing more and more with those scientist who wait a decade for their satellite to return with photos of Jupiter.

The Sherlock fandom was recently whining that they've turned five and have ten episodes. We're turning twenty and have four books. We are the fandom who waited! XD
