Checkers told me it was OK to be greedy in this instance, while an_english_girl suggested the reverse-psychology of the title (and it struck me as a method Gen himself might employ to achieve his desired ends)...

So without further ado: Why I should [not] have an ARC!

Entry #1: Fan Art

I begin with a dreadful doodle that probably should NOT count as fan art, although I draw your attention to the hook, the lily, the Gift, the moon (promises), and the crown... or are those crenelations? (Note the leaping stick figure.) And yes, this began as a coffee ring. CLEARLY an homage to MWT's visual "progress reports" on tumblr.

Entry #2 & #3: Remember Me? / Why I should(n't) have an ARC

I infamously attended a Meet & Greet/ThiefCon/Book signing event at Anderson's Bookshop in August of 2012. I wore bee earrings, which is essentially impersonating the Queen of Attolia. A punishable crime? Probably. I hope they throw me in a cell with Aris.

...Oh, and I brought a few (cough) of my Queen's Thief converts. I guess that makes me the leader of a small cult. Shockingly reprobatish behavior, really, and awarding me with an ARC of Thick As Thieves would only encourage me to bring MORE followers into the QT's fold.

And lastly, I don't want your ARC. (I do actually. I want it a lot.)

I use Sharpie Pens. They're permanent like regular Sharpies, but finer than fine points and they won't bleed through paper. Pretty much my favorite things ever!
