Here we go, more drawings. I left in the process sketches in case anyone was wondering how I do things - doodle, and nab bits from each that seem to fit. The Teleus I like best is the one to the far left of the three, but I think he still needs some tweaking.

Finally figured out Costis's design, and amusingly I seem to picture him as a young, slightly chunkier John Travolta. I think he needs to be a bit wider at the shoulders than how I drew him, but other than that I'm happy with him. Gen's just... there, haha. I've had him designed for ages. 

Am I the only one who pictures Gen to be short? Not like really short, just shorter than most guys, maybe 5'6" or 5'7"? I just think it would be hilariously appropriate, given his personality, and would add the the whole "he shore dunt look like much" thing. Also, Attolia DEFINITELY needs to be taller than him, imo.

Anyway. Will draw more tomorrow night and over the weekend, so you'll probably get more of these over the next few days. Gotta do Eddis and Attolia, as I seem to ignore them in favour of their attractive male comrades.

Yeah, I think Gen is supposed to be short. Shortish, anyway. I know he has that growth spurt somewhere in the middle of QoA, but I don't think he ever really gets tall. Costis is taller than him, and Attolia definitely is.

Oh, yeah. I decided at some point that adult Gen is 5'8", and Attolia is 5'10". Which is fairly arbitrary, other than me liking the numbers, but I definitely think that Gen is on the short side for a guy, and Attolia is tall for a woman, making for a nice reversal of most couples' height differential.

It is definitely (probably? now I'm doubting my certainty....) cannon that Attolia is taller than him. If I weren't lazy I'd get you page numbers.

I'm not in a position to get page numbers, either, but in QoA when they're dancing Attolia definitely notices that she's taller than he is. And this is after his last "growth spurt" before his great kidnapping-of-the-queen, so I assume that means he stays shorter than her.

I always assumed Gen was shortish since it would benefit his thiefish ways, what with needing to hide and fit in small areas and just generally being an agile little bugger.

I always assumed he was short from the Thief so I wasn't surprised when I found out he was shorter than Attolia.. although he might grow a bit more.

However, when I read your post I started wondering if I'd mentally made him short because of the Miles Factor.

But no, it's ok, it's canon. :D
