queensthiefIn the very first scene of CoK's when Gen comes down to the prison to meet the Magus and Sophos, Sophos smiles at Gen, but the Magus goes out of his way and steps infront of Sophos to greet Gen first.
Why?
At first I thought it was because he was so excited to see Gen. But then I had some after thoughts...
was he protecting Sophos? Maybe he wasn't sure what would happen if Gen didn't recognize him? Or was he surprising Gen?
