Sounis marked its one year anniversary a while ago, and to commemorate it, Megan asked me to post here for her. I think she summed it up pretty well:

I have about 30 copies of the cover proof for the paperback of The King of Attolia. It's the same art as on the hardcover, with the lovely picture of Gen. It's exactly like a cover, same size, same print quality, on heavy duty cover stock paper.

I know that the one year anniversary of the com has just passed, and I thought I might
offer the proofs as a sort of mini-poster to anyone who wanted one, in honor of the anniversary. First come first served. Anyone who wants one should send an e-mail with his (ha!) or HER address to meganwhalenturner@harpercollins.com, or directly to my address if they already have it.

So, thirty copies of the becautiful KoA cover are available. Go go go! :D

A picture of a cover proof copy can be seen here.

What is/was RCW 139? In other words, no, but I think maybe I wish I was. I just did a search for Due South or Paul Gross icons, I forget which, and found that one and this one, both credited to [livejournal.com profile] mintflava.

Btw, aren't you a Leslie? Me too. :-) (And I think I'm even older than you are, despite your lj name. *g*)

RCW 139 was what the fan conventions for Due South were called. Named after a license plate that popped up in many of the shows. The "facepalm" picture of PG is from one of those conventions, which is why I thought perhaps you had been there!

Yes, I am Leslie, too. You and I will have to keep these young whippersnappers in order!
