And I can't believe it's been 12 years!

I'm usually one who hates contrived suddenly-everything-works-out-in-the-end happy endings but...I do just want them to be happy. Happyish. Ok, I'll settle for Not Dead. All the mutterings about Gen and the thin veil and his health and all, I don't like that.

I've been thinking more about an heir and would like to see them with a baby. But you know how people say sometimes that a kid is "a good combination of you both!" in a complimentary way? I could see this child as a terrifying combination of the worst of each of them. I do hope he or she gets Gen's loyalty and innate kindness along with Irene's deep capacity for love, and her protectiveness. Now that would be a good combination of them both.

I'd love to see more of Helen and Sophos and what their married relationship has turned into, now that they've had some time together.

Ah... yeah. Now that you mention it, a child of theirs could also turn out to be a crazed, murderous psychopath if raised under the wrong influences and lacking a moral compass.

I am one who likes happy endings with most of the loose ends tied up and hints that the rest will be resolved eventually. I want Gen and Irene to have a healthy child (or more) and to live long, happy, healthy lives; the same for Helen and Sophos. I want the Mede Empire repulsed for good and to have too many internal issues to go after Attolia, Sounis, and Eddis again.

I want to know who Pigeon is and where he came from and find out what happened to his predecessor as well as Dite and his brother. Of course I wouldn't mind hearing more about Teleus, Relius, Costis, and Kamet too. I don't want too much, do I? LOL

Also, does anyone know what the disease the Mede Emperor has? Is it a real disease that we would know or is it a made up one?

I'm sure there are more things I would like to know but this is all I can think of just now.
