queensthief In case you weren't in the chat, I've decided to show my support and join the comm. I've been a lurker for a few months now, and I can't tell you how much this group has helped me understand the books. I don't really have much to say, so here's a question to spark some discussion: How old is the magus? He has to be getting up there in years, because he had to be old enough to move away from home thiry years prior to The Thief, because of the plague. But he can't be really old, because then he wouldn't be able to hike through the mountains and such. Unless he's in great shape, but how does he get into great shape as the king's scholar? Maybe he's secretly training with the Eddisian ambassador ;)

old-man-young-girl pairing I'm going to go with you'se and change him in my mind to a mid-forties James Marsters type.
mmmmmmmm Spike. I tihnk I like the Magnus even more now.

Date: 3/26/06 04:41 pm (UTC)He was 40 the last season of buffy so that would make him..um I don't know 43-4? For the longest time he pulled a Shirley Temple and wouldn't admit to just how old he was.
