As always, feel free to start your own threads, but be sure to hide spoilers with a warning under an LJ-Cut for at least a month from the release date of the new book. Not everyone is going to finish the book on the first day. :)

Use this thread with handy sub-threads to discuss the new short stories and poems. Simply reply to the comment with the name of the story or poem you want to talk about. There is a thread at the bottom for the extra content, such as the almond cake recipe and the art references, if you wish to discuss those. I've not included threads for the previously published and renamed?? short -stories, as we recently discussed those. Also, I don't consider discussing already published content to be spoiler-y, but feel free to start threads on those if you'd like to revisit them.

I don't think Relius is married. At first, I thought he said my wife, but he says a wife. He's having an affair with a married woman, which I guess is better than cheating on his wife?

I was surprised Telues had ladies in the town. He's always seemed pretty hung up on Relius, and seems to be so here, while Relius is being oblivious.

And is everyone in the QT world terrified of aunt's? XD

I agree with you re: “a wife”! And I despise Relius and everything he says in this story, including “and” and “the”. (Did this series need the rehabilitation of a philandering traitor? Where is the magus?)

Oh, you clever people who picked up on that one word. I should know by now to watch for individual words, lack of commas, etc.
