I usually just lurk, but I found an old note with some favorite quotes on it and made a batch of icons from them.

Indiscriminately stealing these and using them pleases me. Attributing them to me and/or not claiming them as products of your own hand makes me happiest. ;)

Ok, after spending an hour fixing it up, I present *drumroll* The QT Series Playlist. I scoured the music tag for song suggestions but there were so many, I couldn't put them all in. I tried as much as possible to get the versions right but there are some that had no other versions. For example: Does Your Mother Know is sung in a guys point of view when it's meant to be Attolia singing. I also added a song that you guys NEED to hear, it's Broken Man by Boys Like Girls and it fits QoA (post-cut of hand scene) perfectly. I put it second so you would be forced to listen WOHAHA. And since I'm posting I have a very biased rant that's about supposed actors for the movie (if ever). I need your ~~support~~ opinions on my views (which are probably very strange). Don't hate me if I accidentaly said something quite innacurate or completely strange. The rant is here.

Oh and guys one last thing. I have ~~an icon~~ icons that I want to share. I suddenly got an icon-making streak and made 4 new ones 0_o. If anyone wants them, just go ahead and take them but don't forget to credit. Hope you guys like the playlist and icons. :).

I started reading this series because I had the books. The Thief and The King of Attolia were both on sale at my local McNally Robinson (bookstore) and looked good, so I bought them. They literally sat on my shelf for nearly a year before I started reading them. I started two weeks ago and I've read each book three times.

It's taken over my life. I go to sleep at 3 am because I can't stop reading. I watch the news and I expect them to start talking about Eugenides. So I did what I usually do when I'm insanely obsessed.

I made an LJ icon!

Hello. *pause*

Uh, anyway. I was thinking that I wanted to make a whole bunch of quote icons for the books, except a) I don't actually currently have copies of the books and b) I'm lazy. So I have a request! Would you be willing to share your favorite, reasonably short (i.e, icon-sized) quotes from the books? Silly lines especially. (as in my icon right now)

That way, I can make icons and - and, uh, people might. Be. Happy...? |D

Hi there! I joined!

Blessed as I am with no computer skills, I'm always extremely proud when I manage things like this. I have had an LJ acocunt for nearly a year now and this is the first community I've joined. ^_^

I also didn't manage to work out how to upload an avatar until Christmas.

There really aren't enough fandom things for the Thief/Queen of Attolia/King of Attolia fandom out there (and I'm not even sure what this fandom is called--bad fangirl), and I decided to make some icons while playing around on Photoshop last night. They are mostly text-based, with a couple of Natalie Portman as Attolia, because well, it's kind of hard to find good stock images for non-contemporary characters. I'm also taking icon requests, so feel free to comment with a description of an icon you'd like and I'll do my best to make it. (I really want to make some image-based icons. Seriously.)
