Character Chat Full Transcript

I had so much fun during the character chat, that I thought it was worth it to pay ten bucks in order to save the full transcript. I do think it's a pretty sneaky way for Chatzy to get money. Honestly, it is better than ads though. Can you imagine being forced to watch a commercial for toilet paper before you are allowed to enter the chat room? Bleh.

Anyway, Livejournal won't let me paste the chat directly into this post, saying that it is too large. So I made a google doc and changed the settings so that anyone can see it, google doc users or not. Let me know if you can't access the link. There is a fun surprise ending (some of you are already aware of it though.)

I just reread the last character chat transcript (or at least the last one that was tagged "chat transcript.") It is amazing that we did not have one since before CoK was published. Last time, the participants figured out the identity of the mystery guest during the chat. This time, we were clueless (or at least I was) until the end of the chat!

I don't think we were given any hints about future books this time, but it was really nice to just talk a bit about books and stuff at the end.

Huh. So sorry I missed the chat. I would've sucked at the role-playing, but I actually read Salvage and liked it a lot, so I could've contributed after the unmasking. Shucks.

It's great to hear from mwt, but the jokes about being 80 years old and waiting for the next book struck home. I'm not there yet but it's...not...inconceivable. It has been 5 years and a few days since ACoK was released. Just sayin'. ;-P
